Meet Dr. Fairouz Mustafa

I was born on December 10th, 1989, in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, during a time of both upheaval and prosperity. It feels no coincidence that I share a birthdate with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, as my life, from its very beginning, has been a testament to overcoming challenges and embarking on justice and healing missions. My journey has been one of moments of scarcity, followed by seasons of abundance, and through it all, I have learned the true meaning of resilience and growth.

I grew up in a conservative family, where ethics, values, and love formed the foundation of everything. My childhood is filled with dark and cherished memories of my small family, my wonderful grandpa Ali, whose unconditional love shaped much of who I am today, my compassionate grandmother, Jalaila, whose stories and kindness left an indelible mark on my heart, and my grandfather, who guided me with quiet strength to wealth and success path. I also remember the warmth of my neighbors, the playful visits of my extended family, my pets, and the simple joy of my childhood toys. These memories built the bedrock of my values and shaped my view of the world.

As an only child for the first six years of my life, I often faced feelings of loneliness, being different, discrimination, exclusion, fear, and rejection. I didn’t fully understand the emotional weight of those experiences at that time, but looking back, I realize how much they impacted my view of myself and the world. Despite these early struggles, I always found a way to see the world through a lens of authenticity, love, and beauty. This early ability to find a blessing in disguise has been my greatest gift, and it has guided me through every challenge I’ve faced.

When I began school, I quickly stood out for my independence and intellectual curiosity. I was never one to rely on others, always seeking to use my mind, heart, and free spirit to explore the world. My desire for critical thinking, self-reliance, and personal discovery was instilled in me from a young age. But alongside this independence, I learned one of my most important value— the inclusion. I came to value and love people for who they are, regardless of their race, religion, or background. This value became foundational not only in my personal life but also in the work I do today as a life coach and holistic healer.

The loss of my beloved grandpa at age eight deepened my sense of solitude, but it also left behind memories of jasmine, joy, and love. His passing was an emotional turning point that inspired me to be connected with emotions and start writing. By age ten, I had begun to compose literary texts, pouring my heart and soul into words. My essays, submitted to daily newspapers, competed with the voice of Fairouz on the school radio. When my teachers believed in my literary flame, my hands turned to books on emotional intelligence, wisdom, and human rights, which I found in a public library.

As adolescence approached, existential questions began to weigh heavily on my mind, and I found myself grappling with trauma, anger and fear. For years, I struggled with vulnerability and poverty, often asking, "Why me, God?" Then came a defining moment. I entered the Information Technology College at one of the leading universities with a 91.8% score, and I laid out a plan, focusing solely on academic excellence. It became my path, my responsibility. I committed myself to achieving top grades, even while juggling multiple jobs, the latest of which was in training. Excellence became my standard, especially that I maintained a 95% average throughout my studies. After completing my university education, I began working at a major banking institution, marking the beginning of my structured journey into self-development and psychology. At the age of 23, a significant transformation occurred in my life that pushed me to take serious steps toward awareness. I encountered numerous professional and academic opportunities that led me deeper into this field. After years of study and work, I pursued a master’s degree at the University of Jordan, which taught me crucial life lessons that shaped my path. This phase opened many doors, including the launch of my first business. During my master’s studies, I became more aware of part of my life’s purpose, as a teacher, finishing with honors and fueling my drive to continue onward.

November 23, 2017, was another pivotal moment in my life — a point of transformation that led me through a series of defining experiences, what is often called "the dark night of the soul." For years, I pressed forward courageously, but at a great cost to my physical and emotional well-being. I had focused so heavily on success that I neglected to nurture my emotions and overall well-being. It wasn’t until I faced a breakdown that I realized I had been ignoring the deeper aspects of myself. This painful journey led me to the banks of the River Thames in London, where I began the process of healing, like a diamond emerging from the rough.

I clearly remember the turning point on New Year’s Eve 2021 in Hyde Park, London. Standing near the Churchill statue, I reflected on the wisdom of life and realized that nothing lasts forever — not even giants. It was here that I surrendered my struggles and strength that were part of a much larger journey, and this insight was transformative. I set intentions that I didn’t know would lead me to write to you today and more beyond that.

By the end of 2022, I achieved another milestone: completing my PhD in just two years — the shortest duration allowed. During this time, I published two papers in prestigious academic journals and participated in several scientific conferences. In April 2023, I moved to Scotland, a new chapter that allowed me to focus more on nurturing my creativity and expanding my business. This phase, combined with a second master’s degree in psychology and advanced studies in coaching from top institutions across the UK, US, Australia, Japan, Italy, and Egypt, laid a strong foundation for my coaching career.

The day I write this is a milestone in my spiritual journey and the pursuit of freedom. My story, as a woman, human and healer, is long and filled with sensitive details, and perhaps one day I will share them with you face-to-face or in the pages of a book I am writing. But for now, here is what matters:

  • At 20, I officially started my training journey while still an undergraduate student.

  • I succeeded in a series of projects that required travel, late nights, and learning the rules of wealth, success, and consciousness.

  • In 2018, I launched my first business and have continually strives to expand my investments.

  • I became a PhD holder at the age of 32.

  • I published solid academic research papers in top journals.

  • I currently serve as an Assistant Professor at the University of Stirling in the heart of Scotland.

  • I have lectured at Brunel University London and Brunel Pathway.

  • I won the "Favourite Business - Scotland" award in 2024.

  • I also won the "Top Freelancer Awards - England" in 2024.

  • By Spring 2024, I will have completed over 150 courses in training and self-development from institutions in the UK, the US, and the world's leading schools.

  • I have shared my beliefs about coaching through media platforms like Al-Ghad newspaper in Jordan.

  • I have lived in Jordan, England and Scotland and dream of settling in a house near the North sea, surrounded by a loving family, a horse farm, and my pets, while managing a leading impactful business with a view of the Thames River in the heart of London.

Today, I present myself to you as a life coach, healer, and teacher driven by the belief that my unique authentic blend between psychology and business is not just something I chose everyday, but my true calling, the purpose I was born for.

Thank you for being part of my journey of resilience, growth and transformation. It is my intention that we share experiences together so I can help you unlock paths to growth, awareness, and healing with love.
